conceptual design project (2021)
Project overview
Zeal is a social app that connects people through a swipe-based system, filtering events based on user interests. It simplifies event discovery and creation, while also enabling profile-based communication. Premium features, like unlimited swipes and event organisation, are available through a paywall with a 100% money-back guarantee.
My contributions
I was responsible for designing the logo and the entire user flow prototype for Zeal, showcasing its concept from event selection to user communication. My work aimed to bring Zeal’s vision to life through an engaging and cohesive user experience.

Account creation and setting up
We started by looking at account creation and users setting up their portfolios.
For sign up we followed best practice and reviewed how some of dating apps solve account creation.

Feature introduction
After an account is created, users immediately get introduced the features of the app.

Swipe action for joining or not
Tinder, our main inspiration, uses a swipe-based system for finding potential dates online. We applied the same swiping movement to create a platform where people can easily join events and meet new people.

Event organising with just some clicks
Many apps help people meet and organise events, but organisers still need to research and book venues themselves. Zeal offers an all-in-one solution: simply choose the event name and genre, and Zeal provides a range of venue options for you.

Greet and meet
After joining or creating an event, users are provided with a group chat where they can get to know each other. Event organisers have the ability to manage their events by changing the event picture, updating the description, or rescheduling the event to a different time and location.
